UPDATE
I am in the process of sourcing a new print house for copies of my work.
At Cash-Crop Photo, I believe that photography is not just about capturing a moment, but about telling a story. I strive to share images that evoke emotion and capture the essence of the natural beauty of my subjects.
I believe in representing all the beauty nature presents. Flaws and all. Like this Primrose. Normally we would pass this little yellow flower growing on the roadside and would not think anything more of it than just a weed in the ditch, if we notice it at all.
While driving down a shady country lane I saw this. With a splash of sunlight illuminating it, I saw more than a weed in the ditch.

I edit my photographs with a light touch. I adjust exposure, contrast, tint, vibrance, and texture for both the subjects and the backgrounds. I leave in things like brown spots on leaves, webs, even insects, etc. that are not part of the subject and can be ‘Photoshopped out’ or “corrected”, if wanted. It is with very few exceptions that I 'photoshop out' these things. If I do, I will disclose it in the captioning.
I am an amateur photographer. I was introduced to film photography at a young age by my father who operated a dark room in our home’s basement. I spent a lot of time with him developing B&W film and prints. At about 13 I started using his 4 x 5 box camera and developing my own B&W film and prints. I really enjoyed using that camera and wish I still had it. I got into higher end DSLR photography several years ago. I also have a lifelong appreciation for nature and a love for the outdoors. Combining the two, love of the outdoors and photography, has become a serious hobby. Some even say it has become an obsession.
In the gallery below I have placed some random examples from my photography files.
The majority are pretty good photos. There are a lot of good photographs and even some really good photographs. Again, these were randomly uploaded from my files as place holders and examples of my work.
The printer that I had been using for my personal prints does incredible work but does not have a history of acceptable customer support. I will not send potential clients to a source that cannot or will not give acceptable customer support.
I am in the process of sourcing a new print house and will update this site when that is completed.
Keep checking back for updates.
